We offer complimentary ring sizing within 90 days of delivery. To initiate a request, please contact us at support@thealteredcarbon.com with your order number. Our team will carefully assess your piece and guide you through the process.
Please note that shipping costs for both directions are to be borne by the customer.
Resizing Guidelines
Each ring is crafted with precision, and resizing is approached with the utmost care.
- Rings may be resized up or down by one full size.
- Adjustments beyond this range may compromise the integrity and aesthetic of the design, and are therefore not recommended.
- All resizing requests are subject to a technical evaluation to ensure feasibility without affecting the craftsmanship.
After 90 Days
The complimentary resizing service is offered as a one-time benefit within 90 days of delivery.
Any resizing requested beyond this period — or after the initial resize has been utilized — will be accommodated at an applicable service fee.
Design Limitations
Certain designs, by their very nature, cannot be resized.
Rings featuring full eternity settings — where stones encircle the entire band — do not allow for resizing due to their continuous structure and delicate setting.
In such cases, we recommend an exchange for the correct size, and our team will be pleased to assist you in finding the perfect fit.

Does The Altered Carbon offer a lifetime jewelry warranty?
Yes. The Altered Carbon provides a Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty on its jewelry, subject to the warranty conditions and exclusions.
What does the lifetime jewelry warranty cover?
The warranty covers qualifying manufacturing defects, including certain structural craftsmanship issues, loose or weakened prongs caused by manufacturing defects, and stones dislodging because of setting faults.
Does the warranty cover normal wear and tear?
No. Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, surface wear and naturally worn metal, isn't covered under the manufacturing warranty.
Does the warranty cover accidental damage?
No. Accidental damage, mishandling and improper use aren't covered under the Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty.
Does the warranty cover a lost diamond?
No. Lost or stolen jewelry isn't covered by the warranty.
Does a third-party repair affect my warranty?
Yes. Your current policy states that repairs or modifications carried out by a third party void the warranty.
How do I make a warranty claim?
